Its market value is excellent.

Uses: Antioxidant, Anti-inflammation, improved hair health, eye health, bone health & digestive problems, prevent asthma, cancer, heart diseases &Skin & healing. Papain content 72.2% of protein, it is uses in cosmetics products, drug to cure stomach disorder, tenderization of meat & used in leather industries.

Cultivation: Itthrives for high temperature & humidity. Nursery bed of 3x1x10 m is prepared for sowing of seed. Generally it is propagated through seed or tissue culture plant. The fruits are harvested only when fully mature on the tree. The latex or papain is harvested from immature papaya.
